Our Fun-Filled Visit to Sky Zone New Rochelle
Hey parents! If you're looking for a fun way to let your kids burn off energy, I have to tell you about a great place NUNU Playhouse sponsored for us. They sponsored my 8-year-old son, Fernando to visit Sky Zone in New Rochelle. It was such a great experience, and I wanted to share what to expect in case you’re thinking about going.
Getting Started: Choosing a Package & Signing the Waiver

When we arrived, the first stop was the front desk, where we had to choose a package. Sky Zone offers different options, including single-session passes for $36.99 and monthly memberships like their basic for $36.99 or their Elite for $42.99 which are great if your kids love to come often. I considered the membership but decided to go with a single session instead.
Before we could head in, I had to sign a waiver—a must for all jumpers. Once that was done, the staff gave Fernando a color-coded bracelet to track his jump time.
Getting Ready to Jump
Next, they gave him a pair of Sky Zone grip socks, which help prevent slipping. He was excited to put them on and couldn’t wait to start bouncing.
Nonstop Fun for the Kids
Once we got inside, I could see why kids love this place. It’s more than just trampolines—there are so many different sections to explore!
Fernando ran straight to the main trampoline area, where he practiced flips and jumps. After that, he tried:

Dodgeball Court – Jumping and dodging at the same time made it extra fun! Kids love to throw things at each other haha
Foam Pit & Obstacle Course – He loved climbing and then diving into the soft foam cubes.
Sky Slam (Basketball) – Thanks to the trampoline boost, he was dunking like a pro.
Warped Wall & Ninja Warrior Course – He attempted the famous slanted wall challenge, and even though he didn’t make it to the top, he had a blast trying!
A Little Something for the Parents
Now, let’s talk about something for us parents—because Sky Zone actually thought of us too!

They have massage chairs where you can get 3 minutes of massage time for $1 while your kid plays. I personally love that for us!
There are couches all over the play area also, so you can watch your child, scroll your phone, have an adult conversation or just unwind while waiting for their time to be up.
I took full advantage of one of the comfy couches while Fernando played—I mean, if I’m going to spend an hour here, I might as well be comfortable, right?
Snack Time: What’s on the Menu?

After jumping for a while, Fernando needed a break. Sky Zone has a small snack bar with kid favorites like pizza, nachos, chicken tenders, pretzels, and, of course, sugary drinks.
Personally, I always bring my own snacks and drinks to avoid giving Fernando too much sugar. I packed some apple slices, grapes, and a bottle of water, which kept him going without the sugar crash.
Ending the Day with Arcade Fun
Before we left, Fernando noticed the arcade area and, of course, wanted to play a few games. I loaded up a card for him, and he had fun playing racing games and trying his luck with the claw machines.
One thing I really appreciated was that Sky Zone has staff at every station, making sure the activities for kids are safe and they arefollowing the rules. It gave me peace of mind knowing there were extra eyes on them that way I could fully enjoy my 3 minute massage. You know what I mean!
Final Thoughts: A Great Place for Playdates & Parties
By the time we left, Fernando was completely exhausted—which, let’s be honest, is every parent’s goal! We headed out had a small dinner and headed home.
